Rodebjer (pronounced Row-de-b(j)ear) is a fashion brand established in New York City in 2000 by Carin Rodebjer. The brand was built at the intersection of Ludlow Street and a gravel path on the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea, where Carin was born and raised. ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented Interim Accountant to join our finance team on a fixed-term basis for six months. This is a part-time position of approximately 50%, with a preferred start date as soon as possible.

The role offers a broad range of accounting responsibilities across the finance function. We are looking for someone with a few of years of relevant accounting experience who enjoys working independently while collaborating with colleagues across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As Interim Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and posting employee expense reports

• Managing accounts receivable and the end-to-end order-to-cash process

• Posting and reconciling customer payments

• Performing bank reconciliations

• Maintaining general ledger postings and manual journal entries

• Processing, accounting for, and paying supplier invoices accurately and on time

• Preparing monthly closings, including balance sheet reconciliations

• Supporting various administrative tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

We are looking for a candidate who has:

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role

• Solid knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting

• Experience with month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations

• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work

• The ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks

• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The following experience is highly meritorious:

• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Experience working in a small or medium-sized organization
